Beginner Paragliding Course
Proposed programme. This outline is not open for enrolment. Duration, price, dates, equipment, and instructor details will be published only after they are confirmed.
Overview
A proposed introduction to paragliding for people starting from the ground. The outline moves through equipment, canopy control, theory, and first flights when the day and the student’s progress allow. It is not open for enrolment. Duration, price, and the final syllabus have not been confirmed.
Who it is for
People with no paragliding experience who want a structured start. Fitness requirements and the language of instruction have not been confirmed.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites have not been confirmed. They will be listed here before enrolment opens.
Proposed learning objectives
- Lay out, check, and control a paraglider on the ground.
- Understand the basic ideas of lift, controls, weather, and site decisions.
- Practise launches and landings with an instructor when conditions allow.
- Build a habit of pre-flight checks and honest self-assessment.
Proposed structure
- 01
Arrival and aims
A conversation about experience, hopes, and how a training day is organised. This is also where any fitness or language requirements will be explained, once they exist.
- 02
Equipment
How a wing, harness, and reserve are laid out and checked. What the school provides, and what a student brings, will be listed here when it is decided.
- 03
Ground handling
Inflating, steering, and bringing the wing down in the field, repeated until the movements are familiar.
- 04
Theory
An introduction to how a paraglider flies, how the weather in this valley behaves, and the rules of the sites we use.
- 05
Supervised flights
Short flights with an instructor, only when conditions and progress support them. Not every day in the outline is a flying day.
- 06
Review
A clear picture of what was learned and what a sensible next step would be. That next step is a recommendation, not a guaranteed course place.
Equipment
Equipment requirements have not been confirmed. The school will say what is provided and what students should bring before a programme begins.
Instructor
Instructor details will be added once a name and biography are confirmed. We do not publish credentials ahead of that.

Questions
Is this programme open for enrolment?
The Beginner Paragliding Course is a proposed outline. It is not open for enrolment, and no dates are scheduled.
How long is it, and what does it cost?
Duration and price have not been confirmed. They will be shown on this page only after the school sets them. An enquiry does not reserve a place.
Will I finish with a licence or rating?
No outcome like that is promised. What you take away depends on the time you fly, the weather, and how the skills develop. We will not imply a qualification the school has not stated.
